U.S., Israel, and Lebanon Hold White House Meeting, Ceasefire Extended for Two Weeks

Gate News message, April 23 — U.S. President Donald Trump announced today that high-level representatives from Israel and Lebanon met with the United States at the White House. The meeting proceeded very smoothly, and Trump stated that Israel and Lebanon’s ceasefire will be extended for two weeks.

Trump also noted that the United States will collaborate with Lebanon to help protect it from threats posed by Hezbollah. He expressed his expectation to host Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun in the near future.
