What's a U card?
A U card? It's basically a bank card you can top up with USDT.
So what's the point?
You can spend money anywhere. No fees. ATM withdrawals too. Pounds in the UK. Dollars in America. Yuan in China.
The setup is simple. Load USDT to the payment address in the app. Fund your card. Use it like normal.
Got a bank card already? Why bother?
Well, these U cards come from overseas. They're outside our banking system's radar. Won't get frozen for... certain things. Crypto folks seem particularly nervous about frozen accounts. That's why they go for U cards. Makes sense, kind of.
How to get one?
The market's flooded with options. Good ones, bad ones. Be careful. I've been in crypto for 8 years now. Been using these cards for two. Security matters most, I think. Then fee limits. Then where you can use it.
That's how you pick the right one. I've been using two pretty good cards for about a year. In the table below, you'll see their background, rates, registration info.
Just copy the link to your browser. Register. Download the app. Deposit. Apply for the card. The whole thing takes maybe 10 minutes. Not entirely clear why it's so fast, but it is. You'll need email, phone number, ID photo, address, and receipt. It's just a mailing address really. Pretty low threshold. No credit checks. Even blacklisted accounts can register. It's actually simpler than getting a Hong Kong card, which is surprising.
