Trump Claims Iran Was Two Weeks From Nuclear Weapon; Says U.S. Destroyed Enriched Uranium

GateNews

Gate News message, April 26 — In an interview on April 26, former President Trump claimed that Iran possesses enriched uranium sufficient to produce 11 nuclear warheads, but the U.S. has destroyed it using B-2 bombers. Trump said that without the intervention of the B-2 bombers months ago, Iran would have already acquired nuclear weapons.

According to Trump, B-2 bombers entered Iranian airspace at 1 a.m. in complete darkness with no moon, and every bomb hit its target. Prior to the bombing, Iran was approximately two weeks away from possessing nuclear weapons, Trump claimed. He referred to the destroyed material as “nuclear dust” and emphasized that the U.S. must remove it as part of ongoing negotiations with Iran.

Trump stated the U.S. does not want Iran to possess nuclear weapons, framing the bombing campaign as a critical component of diplomatic efforts to prevent nuclear proliferation.
