According to ChainCatcher, Anchorage Digital submitted comments to the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) on the GENIUS Act implementation, outlining its regulatory proposals for stablecoins. As the first federally chartered stablecoin issuer, Anchorage Digital currently issues stablecoins for Tether, OSL Group, and Ethena. In its formal comment letter, Anchorage Digital Bank (ADB) proposed modifications to the stablecoin issuance rules, including recognition of its South Dakota trust structure for reserve asset segregation, principle-based liquidity requirements based on stress testing rather than rigid quantitative thresholds, and removal of automatic redemption delays triggered by daily outflows exceeding 10%.
