According to the news from Odaily Star Planet Daily, in response to the incident that ‘Curve founder Michael Egorov’s address has been liquidated 2.67 million CRVs on UwULend’, Egorov himself responded that because UwULend had previously been hacked, there is currently no CRV available to support uCRV (UwULend’s CRV deposit certificate token) within the UwULend protocol. Although the liquidator obtained uCRV through liquidation, the liquidator can only withdraw CRV from the protocol after purchasing CRV from UwULend and repaying bad debts. In this way, Egorov can also withdraw the remaining deposits. Egorov added that the current situation is that no one can withdraw funds from the hacked platform (UwULend) before the funds (CRV, etc.) are repurchased from the hacked platform.
