PANews, October 23, reported by Caixin, that the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission has approved the issuance and listing of the “Huaxia Solana ETF” on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Although Hong Kong's regulations have allowed Virtual Money Spot ETFs to provide staking services, the issuance of the Huaxia Solana ETF does not include staking. Industry insiders revealed that this may be due to a previous incident where a staking service provider, Klin, suspected of being hacked, led to a theft incident at the Switzerland-based Crypto Assets platform SwissBorg, causing the Hong Kong regulatory authority to believe that the staking function needs to undergo more prudent assessment.
