How to Set Price Alerts on Gate | Gate

Preparation: Make sure you have registered and logged in to your Gate account

Objective

This guide will walk you through how to set price alerts for spot and contract trading pairs on the Gate Web platform.

Steps

Step 1: Access the Price Alert Settings Page

Spot Trading Alerts:

  1. Click Trading in the top navigation bar
  2. Select Spot Trading
  3. Click the Price Alert icon at the top right corner of the trading page

Contract Trading Alerts:

  1. Click Contracts in the top navigation bar
  2. Select Perpetual Contracts
  3. Click the Price Alert icon at the top right corner of the trading page

Step 2: Set Alert Parameters

  1. Choose the trading type: Spot or Contract
  2. Select the trading pair
  3. For contracts, choose the alert price type: Last Price or Mark Price
  4. Set the alert condition: Price or Percentage Change
  5. Enter the specific value
  6. Choose whether to enable the Repeat Alert toggle
  7. Click Add Alert

Step 3: Manage Existing Alerts

  1. View your list of added alerts on the alert settings page
  2. You can delete individual alerts
  3. You can modify the status of the repeat alert toggle

Notes

  1. Price alerts set on the Web platform will be pushed as notifications on the App
  2. Alerts are only triggered when the price meets the set conditions
  3. Make sure you have granted notification permissions to the Gate App to receive alert notifications

Q1: Where will I receive notifications for alerts set on the Web platform?

A: When your price alert conditions are met, notifications will be pushed to the App.

Q2: How do I modify or delete an alert I've already set?

A: You can directly delete or change the repeat alert toggle for individual alerts in the alert list.

A: Please check the following:

  1. Whether the price has reached the trigger condition you set;
