Aave Labs commits to sharing off-protocol revenue with token holders, AAVE has surged over 10% in the past 24 hours.
On January 3rd, Aave founder Stani Kulechov posted on the official governance forum stating that, in light of recent community discussions, Aave Labs commits to sharing revenue generated outside the protocol with token holders. Synergistic interests are crucial for both Aave Labs and AAVE holders, and an official proposal will be soon introduced to clarify the specific operational mechanism. Aave Labs will design a structure in the upcoming proposal to support this long-term vision while providing sufficient safeguards for the DAO and Aave token holders. According to CEX market data, possibly influenced by this news and market-wide rally, AAVE’s 24-hour increase reached 10.69%, currently quoted at $165.
