Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives plan to stay out of town during the federal government "shutdown".
Jin10 reported that on October 4th local time, it was learned that House Republicans held a conference call that day. Republican leadership informed the members during the meeting that they plan not to return to Washington during the federal government "shutdown." Currently, the U.S. government is in a "shutdown" due to a budget impasse, with both the Democratic and Republican parties blaming each other over the funding bill.
