Gained international authoritative recognition: Oceanwide Group selected for S&P Global's "2026 Sustainability Yearbook"

Recently, internationally recognized credit rating agency S&P Global officially released The Sustainability Yearbook 2026. Thanks to its outstanding performance in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas, COSCO SHIPPING Group stood out among more than 9,200 global companies and was successfully selected for the yearbook, becoming one of the 57 mainland Chinese enterprises to receive this international recognition.

S&P Global’s Sustainability Yearbook is one of the most influential corporate sustainability assessments in the world. Its selection results are an important reference for investment decision-making across the global asset management industry with over $32 trillion in assets under management. In 2026, more than 9,200 companies worldwide participated, and ultimately only 848 companies from various industries with the best overall performance were selected, accounting for less than 10%. Among them, there were only 57 mainland Chinese companies, and COSCO SHIPPING Group became one of the very few mainland Chinese real estate companies to receive this international honor.

For a long time, COSCO SHIPPING Group has adhered to the core philosophy of “Building • Health,” integrating it into its operations and development. It has demonstrated strong performance in green building, resource conservation, and achieving carbon emission reduction targets, helping lead the industry’s green transformation. At the same time, it actively promotes coordinated community development and fulfills its corporate citizenship responsibilities. In the face of challenges in the market environment, COSCO SHIPPING Group continuously optimizes its ESG risk management framework, deeply embeds sustainability concepts into business decision-making, and enhances the company’s resilience to risks. Being selected for S&P Global’s The Sustainability Yearbook 2026 is not only an authoritative recognition of COSCO SHIPPING Group’s practical and in-depth ESG efforts, but also provides support for the company to stay committed to “long-termism” and to advance sustainable development.
