Zhang Xue celebrates her championship with her former team! Once rivals turned enemies, the ending proves everyone wrong.

Recent months, the motorcycle community has really blown up! Zhang Xue brought his own Zhang Xue motorcycle and, at the World Superbike Championships, immediately took back-to-back titles.

Once this happened, a lot of people were waiting to see the drama between him and his longtime employer, Keeway Motorcycles. After all, anyone with eyes could tell what the two parties’ old grudges were back then.

In 2017, Zhang Xue teamed up with two partners to found Keeway Motorcycles together. In 2019, he went crazy trying to develop an 800cc engine on his own.

He personally dug deep into his own assets and borrowed 10 million, while Keeway also poured in more than 20 million. In 2021, the engine successfully fired up, directly setting a milestone in China for a brand.

Who would have thought that in early 2024, Zhang Xue and his partners’ ideas completely fell apart. They slapped the table on the spot, turned on each other, and resigned immediately—then turned around to found the Zhang Xue motorcycle brand.

This year, he directly won two championships in two days on the international stage, and that performance crowned him overnight. This move pushed Keeway straight into the spotlight and crosshairs.

Keeway’s official livestream even put up a title right away: “Before you came, we were already champions.”

The moment these words came out, the motorcycle community erupted. People openly and covertly tried to squeeze Zhang Xue, and the tension and “gunpowder” feeling was turned all the way up.

Later, once the public pressure became impossible to hold back, Keeway quickly stepped out to apologize. They said it was only because the title’s word count wasn’t enough and it hadn’t expressed things clearly; it was absolutely not meant to deny Zhang Xue’s contributions.

Everyone thought the two of them would have to go their separate ways and never speak again for the rest of their lives. But then—there was a twist!

Just yesterday, Zhang Xue and Keeway’s CEO, Yan Kai, sat down together for a meal. The two smiled and shook hands, settled things on the spot, and wiped the slate clean of their earlier grudges.

Zhang Xue even spoke generously, saying he had always been grateful to Yan Zong. If Keeway hadn’t provided that money back then, he would never have had a chance to realize his dream.

He also said that people just have different personalities and pursue different things. He wanted to go out to try and fight to make it happen, while the CEO wanted to proceed steadily and cautiously—no one was wrong.
