Guys, I just came across a wave of posts claiming that Elon Musk is supposedly preparing a phone to compete with the iPhone. There are videos, renders, release dates everywhere... But wait, this is clearly a fake! Turns out, it's just a concept from some design studio from 2021 that spread across the internet. A bunch of websites started copying this story from each other, and now half of the internet thinks that a Tesla phone is already in development. I checked — neither Tesla nor Musk himself have ever announced anything like that. These are just rumors that have been blown up many times over thanks to social media. It’s kind of sad to see how easily tech fakes spread. If you see breaking news about a Tesla smartphone or something similar, first check official sources, and don’t believe the first video you see in your feed. Otherwise, you'll end up like me half an hour ago, thinking Elon Musk really launched a competitor to the iPhone. Life lesson: not all beautiful renders are reality.
