Recently, I've been researching which P2E games are worth playing in 2026 and found that this field is changing really fast. Many people ask me if P2E games can still make money now. I think the key is to find truly fun projects.
Starting with card games, Gods Unchained is still quite interesting, with strong strategic elements, NFT card battles, and rarity determining market value. You can start playing completely for free. Parallel Life is also good—a sci-fi themed TCG game where participating in battles earns PRIME tokens, combining traditional card mechanics with blockchain well.
For role-playing games, Axie Infinity has gone through some turbulence, but many people still play it. Its turn-based gameplay tests strategic thinking. Illuvium is an open-world RPG where you can capture and trade creature NFTs. It’s moderately difficult, suitable for experienced players.
In the virtual world category, Sandbox and Pixels are notable. Sandbox allows creators to build their own game experiences and earn money, though land prices are a bit high. Pixels is still in development; you can build, craft, and farm, and it seems to have good potential.
Aavegotchi combines DeFi with retro gaming—staking cryptocurrencies to increase rarity, requiring an investment of GHST tokens to get started. Shooting games like Rage Effect and Boss Fighters take different routes: one is a multi-platform AAA game, the other offers VR experiences, both providing new gameplay possibilities.
Honestly, by 2026, the P2E gaming ecosystem has become much more mature. It’s not just about making money anymore; the playability of these games is also improving. NFTs and blockchain technology give these games ownership and investment attributes, going beyond pure entertainment. If you want to find P2E games that are both fun and profitable, these projects are worth trying, but it’s still best to choose based on your gaming style.
