People’s Finance News, March 31—Today (the 31st) in the morning, the world’s largest tonnage rotary auger drilling rig with extended-reach capability rolled off the line in Changsha, Hunan, for its first launch. The rig’s operating weight reaches 200 tons, torque 620 kN·m, bore diameter 3,500 mm. At the same time, it has achieved key breakthroughs in core technologies such as multi-motor synchronous operation, transient large-load buffering control, and main winch hoisting energy recovery, and has obtained more than a dozen authorized patents related to these efforts. It has enabled high-precision synchronization with dual closed-loop control of multi-motor speed and torque. Currently, the drill rig has already secured 20 intent-order units, with an order value of 120 million yuan. This not only means that the company’s core technologies are recognized by the market, but also marks that electric rotary auger drilling rigs have officially moved from “pilot projects” to “mass commercial applications.” (CCTV News)
