Recently, Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Implementing Measures for the Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products. Recall ID: S2026M0028V: Effective immediately, the recall covers some imported TOYOTASUPRA 2.0T vehicles produced between March 2, 2021 and September 29, 2022, totaling 40 units. For some vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to issues in the starter motor’s manufacturing, after multiple starts the starter motor’s interior may experience abnormal wear, causing difficulty starting the vehicle. In extreme cases, it may lead to an internal short circuit within the starter motor, localized overheating, and a risk of fire. (State Administration for Market Regulation)
