Russia requests closed-door consultations at the United Nations Security Council on Iran issues.

On March 27, People’s Daily reported that Russia requested a closed-door consultation with the United Nations Security Council on the ongoing attacks against Iranian civilian infrastructure on the 26th. According to TASS, the spokesperson for the Russian Permanent Mission to the United Nations, Usbinsky, stated that the consultation will take place on the 27th at 5 PM Moscow time (10 AM New York time). According to data reported to the media by the Iranian Red Crescent on the 21st, over 80,000 Iranian civilian facilities have been attacked by the United States and Israel, including 266 medical centers and 498 schools that have been directly or indirectly affected.
