Resmed’s 2026 Global Sleep Survey, involving 30,000 people across 13 countries, found that while 53% rank sleep as the top health priority and 84% link it to longevity, quality rest remains elusive for many. Despite a surge in wearable sleep tracking (to 53%), only 23% sought medical help for ongoing sleep issues, highlighting a significant “action gap.” The survey also revealed challenges like increased sleep disruption for women, the impact of stress and workload, and partnership-related sleep disturbances.
