Many people are confused about the USST minting mechanism, especially since it involves using USDY as collateral, which naturally makes it seem complicated—honestly, I initially thought the same. But after actually trying it out, I found that the entire process is quite straightforward and not as convoluted as it seems.

The key points are actually quite simple: first, prepare USDY as collateral, which is the foundation of the entire minting process. Then, go to the minting interface, deposit your USDY, and the system will generate the corresponding amount of USST based on a predetermined ratio. The process itself has no hidden steps; each action and operation is clear and easy to understand.

From my personal experience, this stablecoin minting mechanism is designed to be very user-friendly. While USDY collateral might sound a bit technical, it doesn't involve complex parameter adjustments or risk calculations—it's just a standard asset swap. If you've used other DeFi platforms before, you'll find this much easier to get started with. I think many people's concerns mainly stem from unfamiliarity, but once you understand the process, it’s really not that complicated.
