How to surpass 99% of people in 8 months? You just need to learn to lie flat. No, you heard it right, lying flat. Someone pointed out a key point that is often overlooked: first understand what you absolutely should not do. Why is it that you try your best to learn a lot but still can't catch up with others? It's the common saying that anyone who works hard ends up in debt—that's because the core mistake is misunderstood.
First, don't set random goals. Start by writing a reverse vision—don't just shout "I want to make a lot of money" or "become powerful." List the days you least want to experience: only watching short videos, playing games, doing meaningless work, encountering bad people and bad situations daily. Remove them, stay away from them.
Second, establish order in life. On your left hand, write the reverse vision—what you least want to do; on your right hand, write your ideal life. Set only one small goal per week. Don't set too many. Review before bed, eliminate anything irrelevant.
Third, be ruthless. Disappear for 6 months—commit to 6 months of withdrawal. Distance yourself from those gossipy people, negative energy people. Focus on your small goals and don't waste precious attention.
Fourth, and most importantly, repeat boring tasks every day. Successful people are all grinding on basic skills. Goal setting is boring; you must endure it slowly. Even the most intelligent people must diligently focus on what’s in front of them.
Just like I do daily continuous updates—sticking to it is the hardest part. Don't be afraid of making mistakes; correct them when you do.
Therefore, on ineffective people and things, it's better to rest and lie down than to lose your precious attention.
