According to TASS, Anatoly Aksakov, Chairman of the Financial Market Committee of the Russian State Duma, stated that a bill to "remove cryptocurrencies from special financial regulation" has been prepared and is expected to promote the widespread use of cryptocurrencies in the daily lives of Russian citizens. Aksakov said in an interview with Russia-24, the Russian national television channel, that future legislative work will focus on the development of digital financial assets (DFA) and cryptocurrencies, and will dedicate significant discussion time at the upcoming spring session. He indicated that the bill means cryptocurrencies will no longer be considered as objects of special regulation, but will gradually become a "common phenomenon in everyday life."
