The conflict between blockchain and traditional finance has a long history—one side pursues free flow of assets, while the other strictly adheres to compliance boundaries. But recently, a project has been trying to reconcile this contradiction by building a tangible product that creates a middle path.

This project is called Dusk. Its core idea is to achieve a dual-driven approach of "compliance + privacy" through three progressive product solutions. Let’s start with the first product—DuskTrade.

DuskTrade is comparable to on-chain RWA platforms, but its selling point is compliance endorsement. Partners hold licenses such as the Dutch MTF (Multilateral Trading Facility), brokerage licenses, and European crowdfunding licenses, effectively giving on-chain assets a "legal passport." Currently, the platform has tokenized €300 million worth of securities, ranging from stocks to bonds, all tradable within a compliant framework. The waitlist opened in January, allowing institutions to lock in positions early and avoid secondary market premiums later.

The second product is DuskEVM, which is a tool layer aimed at developers. EVM compatibility means developers can write contracts in the familiar Solidity language and deploy and settle them directly on Dusk’s Layer 1, with zero cross-chain costs. More importantly, it adopts a modular architecture—separating the settlement layer from the application layer—allowing institutions to customize deployment based on their needs without reconstructing the entire underlying infrastructure for compliance.

The third product is called Hedger, which is the real cutting-edge technology. It uses zero-knowledge proofs and homomorphic encryption to handle privacy issues—transaction amounts and participant identities are encrypted throughout, but regulators can verify the flow at any time during audits. This approach protects privacy while remaining compliant. The alpha version is live, and institutions can test it now. For example, after private equity tokens are issued, LPs can view their earnings details without exposing the overall investment portfolio information.

Why is this approach worth paying attention to? On one hand, the global RWA market is expected to surpass $10 trillion by 2026. DuskTrade positions itself as the compliance gateway to this market, potentially replicating some of the market dominance that certain DEXs have achieved in DeFi. On the other hand, its modular design combined with full-license partnerships creates a technological barrier that makes it difficult for latecomers to catch up quickly.

From a product logic perspective, Dusk is not about overthrowing traditional finance but about becoming the "on-chain compliance steward" of traditional finance. This positioning might be more easily accepted by institutions than pure decentralization. What do you think of this方案?

This approach is indeed interesting; the combination of compliance and privacy is executed quite thoughtfully.

Haha, finally a project is seriously doing the "middleman" work. It was about time someone did this. Instead of constantly arguing with regulators, why not just take licenses as shields? That Hedger has some real stuff—zero-knowledge proofs combined with homomorphic encryption. Can privacy and compliance truly coexist? The real key is how it performs in practice. A tokenized asset worth 300 million euros sounds impressive, but what if liquidity can't keep up? Institutions can now test the Alpha version, which is a good pace—definitely better than just talking on paper. The RWA track is basically a gold mine; it all depends on who can first earn the trust of institutional players. But honestly, the "compliance steward" positioning is a bit too conservative; it feels like setting a trap for itself.

Hmm... After watching for a while, I feel that Dusk's approach is indeed a bit different, not purely revolutionary, but more like a "peacemaker." I need to study the zero-knowledge proof part in more detail. --- Compliance + privacy dual engines? Sounds great, but I'm just worried it might be another PPT coin. --- 100 trillion RWA track? Alright, I'm in. Going all-in on the DuskTrade backup list. --- Basically, it's about putting traditional finance in a blockchain disguise. Institutions might buy in, but is this still Web3? --- Hedger uses zero-knowledge proofs to handle privacy... I trust this technology, just not the coin price. --- So is DuskEVM a backdoor for institutions? The modular architecture is indeed interesting, but whether it can run depends on the ecosystem. --- If it really becomes the "compliance gateway" for RWA, that’s a hundredfold opportunity. Time to do some research. --- Another "both... and..." project, sounds too perfect to be true, but from a technical perspective, there are indeed some solid elements.

The term "compliance passport" is indeed new, but brother, isn't this just changing the skin within the traditional financial framework? Hedger's zero-knowledge proof system sounds awesome, with privacy audits flourishing... But will it really be used without a bunch of compliance documents to fill out? The 10 trillion RWA cake is huge, but how much can actually be allocated is the key, right? Can Dusk and the team really block the entry point? Let's wait and see the feedback from the January waitlist; institutional recognition is the real signal. The idea of linking three products is good, but it still feels like several layers of approval away from explosion...

This is the right way, not necessarily to fight head-to-head with traditional finance. I agree with the compliance steward positioning.

Oops, I finally understand the project. Compliance is not the enemy. Hedger's approach of combining ZK and homomorphic encryption is truly brilliant, achieving both privacy and auditability. This might be the way to solve the problem. The RWA track is indeed about to take off, but how long can Dusk's "butler" role last? Will institutions really pay for privacy? DuskTrade's 300 million euro assets look decent, but it's uncertain how long the moat of this MTF license can be maintained. Modular architecture + full licensing definitely makes it more competitive than purely decentralized projects, I acknowledge that. Basically, it's a product of crypto and regulation compromise, but whether this compromise is good or bad for the ecosystem is still not fully clear.
