I found a good entry point early this morning and opened a short position on $BTC. To be honest, I didn't expect to hold this position for so long — almost a day and a night — during which I experienced nearly a thousand points of volatility. In the end, I decisively closed the position. From an initial 10,000 to a final 44,056, despite many twists and turns, I managed to come out unscathed and not get slaughtered.

Trading derivatives is really about methods and strategies. It's not a game of blind guessing, but one that requires a sense of rhythm and risk control awareness. As long as there's a confident opportunity, you should dare to bite into it, but at the same time, be prepared to exit at any moment. In an era of such volatile markets, staying alive is the prerequisite for making money.

Damn, even a thousand-point fluctuation didn't trigger a sell-off. Your mental resilience is indeed impressive; I would have lost control long ago.

Wow, surviving a fluctuation of thousands of points is truly remarkable. Holding for so long and still walking away completely unscathed shows real skill. That's how contracts work—being able to make money really starts with staying alive, this hits too close to home. Oh my, a short position held for a day and a night, you must have gone through hell in the middle. Daring to withdraw over 40,000 in unrealized gains—your decisiveness 👍 really has that flavor. People with strong risk control awareness are the ones who last long; this move is worth learning from.

This guy's mentality is really incredible; a thousand-point fluctuation and he still hasn't blown up. If it were me, I would have already lost sleep.

Damn, a thousand-point fluctuation and still walk away unscathed, this mental toughness is unmatched. I need to learn from your risk control awareness so I don't get trapped someday. --- This is what a true contract trader looks like, not a gambler's mentality. Staying alive is the key to continuing to make money, and that really hits the point. --- Wait, from 10,000 to 44,056 in gains... are you getting rich overnight? Or are you just satisfied with breaking even? --- Holding onto a thousand-point fluctuation shows real confidence. Most people would have been shaken out long ago, that's the gap. --- Risk control awareness is like health preservation; when you're young, you think it's unnecessary, but when something goes wrong, it's too late to regret. Your trade just taught me a lesson. --- A trade that lasts a day and night, how much psychological pressure do you have to endure... I guess I would have given up long ago. --- So the core is knowing when to run, not greedy or impatient. It's easy to say but very hard to do. --- I just want to ask one question: how do you determine that it's a "high-confidence opportunity" and not just luck?

The consultation record shows that the process from an initial 10,000 to 44,056... Well, it indeed reflects risk control awareness, but the tolerance for a thousand-point fluctuation indicates that there is still room for optimization in position management. The true clinical performance is not in the profit numbers but in the ability to retreat completely — that is the key. Survival is indeed the premise, but I care more about whether a contingency plan for strategy complications has been evaluated before entering the next trade.

A thousand-point fluctuation can still be endured for a day and a night, how tough must that mentality be... I would directly explode instantly.
