There's been plenty of pushback around creator reward mechanisms lately—critics keep pointing out how much value devs are supposedly "taking out" through these incentive structures. What's overlooked though: when developers actually pocket those fees, many reinvest directly back into the token itself or diversify into other projects to strengthen the ecosystem.

Compare that to how things worked before. That same revenue stream? It went entirely to the platform running the show, and basically none of it made its way back to fund the actual work happening on the ground. The difference in reinvestment philosophy is pretty stark when you look at it side by side.

To put it simply, compared to the previous method of harvesting profits without giving anything back, now developers are earning profits themselves and reinvesting them into the ecosystem. This logic indeed makes sense.

ngl the whole "devs are extracting value" narrative gets old fast. did anyone actually track where that capital flows? because yeah, reinvestment back into protocol vs platform hoarding is basically night and day. something worth auditing closer though

To be honest, this logic sounds good, but I still feel like it's just defending executives' embezzlement. Reinvest back sounds great, but is the reinvestment really happening or is it just going into a private key account?

NGL, this logic doesn't quite hold up. Developers' "reinvest" sounds nice, but who the hell has actually verified it? Compared to before, it might just be a different way to cut the leeks.

Well said, that's the key. The previous approach was just platform bloodsucking. Now developers at least give back to the ecosystem, although there are inevitably some who take advantage of the chaos.

ngl, this logic doesn't quite hold up. If the developer says they want to reinvest, does that necessarily mean they will reinvest?
