Second Day of Christmas: U.S. stock markets open normally today, European stock markets continue to be closed

During Christmas 2025, major global financial markets will adjust their trading hours sequentially according to local holiday schedules. According to Jintou statistics, the following are the specific arrangements for each market from December 24 to 26, all times are in Beijing time.

On December 24 (Wednesday), except for the Seoul Securities Exchange in South Korea, the Taiwan Stock Exchange in China, and the National Stock Exchange of India, which will trade normally, many markets around the world will close early or shorten trading hours in anticipation of Christmas Eve. It is worth noting that on December 25 (Thursday), Christmas Day, the vast majority of financial markets worldwide will be closed, including all the markets that closed early mentioned above.

On December 26 (Friday), some markets will gradually resume trading. The New York Stock Exchange and Intercontinental Exchange in the U.S. will also open as usual, while CME's U.S. Treasury futures will only suspend trading from 14:00 to 19:00. Markets in Asia, including South Korea, Taiwan, and India, will remain open as usual;

However, markets in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and Europe (United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany, Italy) will continue to be closed, and the Canadian market will also remain closed.

It is noteworthy that only the Deutsche Börse in Germany and the Milan Stock Exchange in Italy will maintain a continuous three-day holiday during Christmas;

Overall, due to Christmas, trading hours in global financial markets from December 24 to 26 will show significant regional closures or early closings.
