actually... singing christmas trees? that's just micropayments with extra steps. the real question nobody's asking is what happens to the cryptographic primitives under the hood when you scale this to millions of transactions. lightning network's elegant, sure, but let's not pretend it solves the fundamental trust assumptions we're glossing over here.
