The Changsha Yuhua District Prosecutor's Office reported on an 11-member fraud gang that has a rather "new" method - specifically targeting foreigners and committing fraud under the guise of virtual currency.

How did they do it?

8 salespeople, all packaged as "independent women in the financial circle," are fishing on overseas social platforms. The target is very clear: single foreign men.

First, let's date, talk about dreams, and build trust. Then, the conversation shifts, leading you to "invest in crypto together to get rich."

Next comes the classic routine: fake trading platforms, watching the rising K-line charts, and continuously urging to increase positions. When you want to withdraw your investment? Sorry, the money has already gone into someone else's pocket.

The total amount involved is around 340,000 yuan, and all 11 people are implicated.

Put simply, this is just the traditional pig-butchering scheme with a new facade—victims are replaced with foreigners, and the tools are replaced with cryptocurrencies. But the core remains the same: masquerading emotions + false profits + financial black holes.

Don't think that foreigners are smarter. Human weaknesses are universal; in the face of emotional manipulation, IQ is not a shield.

One more point needs to be clarified: this matter has nothing to do with blockchain technology itself. The chain is neutral; it is always people who do evil. Technology should not bear the blame.
