Cardano ( ADA ) founder Charles Hoskinson predicted that Bitcoin ( BTC ) will reach $250,000 in the future despite the recent corrections.
According to blockchain media, Charles Hoskinson appeared on CNBC's 'Squawk Box' and claimed that the recent correction of Bitcoin is temporary due to macroeconomic factors such as uncertainties in the global market and the impact of U.S. tariffs. He further predicted that the cryptocurrency market would soon overcome the negative trend.
He stated that Bitcoin will recover most of the recent 26.6% correction over the next two quarters and could reach $250,000 by 2026. Additionally, Hoskinson pointed out that the CLARITY Act(, a cryptocurrency market regulation bill expected in early 2026, is a significant regulatory development that will greatly impact the cryptocurrency environment.
Hoskinson believes that the current weak retail participation is linked to the losses of 2021 and that regulatory clarity could help restore market trust.
Meanwhile, Hoskinson recently pointed out at the 'Midnight Summit 2025' that the Trump administration excessively intervened in the cryptocurrency market, distorting the four-year cycle.
