Billy Markus's Top 5 Cryptocurrencies: A Personal Journey

I still remember creating Dogecoin as a joke back in 2013. Never thought it'd become this massive. And now everyone wants to know what I think about crypto? Hilarious. But yeah, I've got my favorites.

Obviously DOGE tops my list - it's my baby after all. Created it as a piss-take of the whole crypto scene, and look where we are now. Elon's pumping it on Twitter, idiots getting rich, chaos everywhere. Sometimes I laugh, sometimes I cringe.

BTC is second. The OG crypto that started everything. Honestly, it's bloated and inefficient as hell, but I respect its staying power. Those Bitcoin maximalists are cultish, but the network's security is unmatched. Would I bet my life savings on it? Maybe not at $118K per coin, but whatever.

ETH's on my list too. Vitalik's smart contracts changed everything, even if gas fees sometimes cost more than my monthly coffee budget. The whole ETH ecosystem is a mess of competing interests and delayed promises, but still way ahead of the competition.

AVAX and SOL round out my choices. Both solving real problems with scaling and performance. SOL keeps crashing but recovers like nothing happened. AVAX has impressive tech but flies under the radar compared to the hype machines.

I've watched countless projects pump and dump over the years. Most crypto is garbage marketed as revolution. These five at least have some substance beneath the noise.

Funny how everyone wants investment advice from a guy who made a dog coin as a joke and sold too early to become a millionaire. Take my opinions with a massive grain of salt - I'm just another dude who got lucky once.
