Bitcoin forecast: who to trust in the chaos of digital speculation?

Abstract generation in progress

It seems that the whole world is obsessed with Bitcoin again. Everywhere there are these loud headlines, experts with their "brilliant" predictions, and charts that show only rise, rise, and more rise. To be honest, this annoys me.

In 2023, I was constantly told that BTC would reach 45-55 thousand dollars by the end of the year. And what? Yes, in December the price almost touched 44 thousand. Congratulations to the analysts – they guessed it, how about that! And now these same "geniuses" are predicting a cosmic rise to 100-135 thousand in 2024.

I look at these forecasts until 2050 and laugh. Seriously? Almost 12 million dollars for one bitcoin? I'm just thinking, are they snorting cocaine before compiling these "analytical" reports?

Let's look at the facts without rose-colored glasses. Yes, BTC showed a bullish rise in 2023. According to forecasts, the maximum will be around 38 thousand dollars, and the average price is about 34 thousand. If the market goes down – the minimum is 29 thousand. And this is after all these stories about ETF approvals and institutional investors!

For 2024, a maximum of 60 thousand is already predicted with a minimum of 54 thousand. But what prevents the market from collapsing again by 80%, as has happened more than once? No one talks about this when drawing beautiful rise graphs.

In 2025, a maximum of 83 thousand is expected, and by 2030 – attention! – as much as 192 thousand. By 2040, for some reason, already 569 thousand. The math is simply flawless – the main thing is to take more zeros!

Of course, exchanges present these forecasts as objective analysis. But let's be honest – it is in their interest for you to trade, top up deposits, and believe in the bright future of crypto. The more optimism, the higher their fees.

I am not saying that bitcoin is a bad investment. It may indeed rise. But these blind forecasts that ignore regulatory risks, technological issues, and global economic factors are simply irresponsible nonsense.

And all this advice "invest and hold for a long time" – from the same people who silently sell their coins when they feel it's time to exit.

Don't be fooled by pretty numbers. The cryptocurrency market is a casino where even pros don't know what will happen tomorrow, let alone in 2050.
