Hotan Rashidifard launches the Hash3 crypto fund of $29 million

Abstract generation in progress

It seems that Hotan Rashidifard has just presented Hash3, an initial crypto fund of $29 million. Interesting move. This fund will invest between $250,000 and $1 million in high-potential entrepreneurs. Its goal? A more open digital future, with fewer restrictions.

They have already started. Hash3 has 10 investments to its credit. EigenLayer, Ajna.finance, Crossmint... names that sound promising. The consulting team is not bad at all. Surojit Chatterjee from Coinbase. Yuga Cohler as well. Corey Miller from dYdX. They even have Gokul Rajaram on the Coinbase board and the founder of Router Protocol, Ramani Ramachandran.

Rashidifard is not new to this. Five years at Canaan Partners, a firm that manages about $7 billion. He started with crypto in 2017, somewhat early. The curious thing is his mixed background: mining engineering and digital content production. A somewhat strange combination, but perhaps just what this type of fund needs. It is not entirely clear if it will work, but the bet seems solid.
