The Ethereum attestation (PoS) network is experiencing a large-scale demand for ETH withdrawals. According to the latest data, approximately 2.369 million ETH (worth $10.2 billion) are currently waiting to exit the PoS network. This figure highlights the immense liquidity pressure the current network is facing.
It is worth noting that the ETH withdrawal process is not completed instantly. Currently, the withdrawal delay time is up to 41 days and 3 hours, which includes a 'Sweep Delay' of 9.1 days. This additional waiting time is due to a large number of validators requesting to exit simultaneously, and the system requires more time to process and settle the funds.
Meanwhile, the enthusiasm for new validators entering the Ethereum PoS network seems to have cooled down. Currently, there are 349,000 ETH, approximately $1.5 billion, in the new staking queue, with a waiting time of 6 days and 2 hours, which is a slight decrease compared to the previous week.
This phenomenon reflects the complex dynamics of the cryptocurrency market. Despite a large amount of ETH waiting to exit, there is still a significant inflow of new funds, indicating that market participants still have long-term confidence in the Ethereum ecosystem. However, the amount of exits far exceeds the new staking volume, which also suggests that some investors may be reassessing their holding strategies.
As the situation develops, the stability of the Ethereum network and liquidity management will be closely monitored. Market participants and analysts will continue to track this data to assess its potential impact on the ETH price and the overall cryptocurrency market.
