在谈及以太坊对开发团队的核心价值主张时，其指出抗审查性与隐私保护工具正变得愈发重要，这不仅符合加密朋克价值观，也满足了机构和普通用户对链上隐私日益增长的需求。此外，其强调应用层创新是另一大重点，特别是目前尚未有普适解决方案的「身份（Identity）」领域。ENS 已在用户身份创建方面打下基础，未来需进一步探索具备隐私保护特性的通用身份方案，以覆盖门票销售、治理用例以及社交层等多种应用场景。
