Jin10 Data reported on October 14th that on October 13th local time, the African Union Peace and Security Council held an emergency meeting to discuss the situation in Madagascar and issued a statement afterward. The statement indicated that the AU will urgently appoint a special envoy for Madagascar and establish a follow-up coordination mechanism, while also suggesting the immediate dispatch of a high-level delegation to Madagascar to engage with relevant stakeholders in order to address the challenges the country is facing.
