WhiteBIT Wins Austria MiCA License Ahead of EU Deadline

Crypto exchange WhiteBIT has obtained authorization under the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation from Austria's Financial Market Authority, enabling it to offer crypto services across the European Economic Area. The approval comes less than two weeks before the MiCA transition period expires on July 1, after which crypto companies must hold MiCA authorization or stop serving EU clients. The license allows WhiteBIT to passport its services across member states without separate jurisdictional applications and supports the launch of its European platform, whitebit.eu.
