Tessera Labs Closes Series A Led by a16z; Six-Person AI Team Replaces 60 SAP Consultants

According to Beating, Tessera Labs, an AI systems integration company, completed Series A funding led by a16z. The startup, founded in 2024, uses a multi-agent platform to automate SAP ECC to S/4HANA migrations, traditionally requiring 3-5 years and $100 million to $500 million per project.

Founder Kabir Nagrecha, who entered UC San Diego at 13 and earned a PhD in computer science by age 20, previously worked as a researcher at Meta. The company's six-person team can complete work that previously required 60 consultants over two years. Tessera has already signed several contracts worth millions of dollars annually and employs over 30 people.
