According to Bloomberg TV, OpenAI CFO Sarah Friar said on May 15 the company may raise more capital after its recent private fundraising round to secure sufficient computing power to meet AI demand. The decision depends on demand, revenue, cash flow, and the gap between required and affordable computing capacity. ChatGPT has over 900 million weekly active users, and Codex has more than 4 million users, Friar added.
