According to Jin10 on June 20, Ali al-Daylamia, a member of the Houthis' political bureau, welcomed the first-phase US-Iran memorandum of understanding and called on the United States to use it as an opportunity to fundamentally change its aggressive strategy in the Middle East.
Al-Daylamia stated the Houthis expect the US to respect the memorandum signed with Iran, adding that if Gaza or Lebanon face further open aggression, the movement will take action. He also called for establishing a new regional order in the Red Sea led by regional states to protect neighboring countries' interests and counter US hegemony.
