Computershare Partners With Securitize to Launch Tokenized Stock Issuance for U.S. Listed Companies

According to Forbes, Computershare, one of the world’s largest stock transfer agents serving most S&P 500 companies, announced a partnership with digital asset firm Securitize to enter the tokenized stock market. Under the collaboration, Computershare’s U.S. listed clients can issue Issuer-Sponsored Tokens (ISTs), allowing investors to hold tokenized shares on-chain while retaining the same voting rights, legal protections, and shareholder privileges as traditional stock holders.
