Bitwise to Close and Liquidate BTOP and BWEB Crypto ETFs on May 1

According to PRNewswire, Bitwise announced on May 1 that it will close and liquidate two crypto ETFs: Bitwise Trendwise BTC/ETH and Treasuries Rotation Strategy ETF (BTOP) and Bitwise Web3 ETF (BWEB). Investors who do not actively sell their shares by May 21, 2026, will have their positions automatically redeemed in cash at the respective ETF’s net asset value (NAV), with distributions expected to be completed by May 29, 2026.
