Anchorage Digital Bank submitted a comment letter to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency supporting the GENIUS Act framework for stablecoin issuance as Western Union’s U.S. Dollar Payment Token (USDPT) prepares to launch on Solana this month. Anchorage will serve as the federally regulated issuer for USDPT, with the first phase focused on settlement between Western Union and agents in selected corridors.
