According to blockchain analysis and a popular post on Reddit, the pseudonymous trader GCR, known for his bearish bet on cryptocurrency Terra LUNA, currently owns 450,000 MOON coins.

According to a report, the anonymous trader GCR, who bet $10 million against the cryptocurrency Terra LUNA in early 2022, now holds a significant amount of the Reddit Moons community tokens (MOON). This information is corroborated by a Reddit post from user Nutcase420 and an analysis of the blockchain conducted by Prithvi Javeri, co-founder and CEO of the research company.

Acquisition of MOON coins

It is reported that GCR acquired 450,000 MOON coins on one of the cryptocurrency platforms and transferred them to another exchange via Arbitrum Nova within 24 hours. Moons (MOON) is an ERC-20 coin distributed as a reward for activity in the r/CryptoCurrency community on Reddit. According to Javari, GCR acquired MOON coins at an average price of 40-45 cents.

Impact on the Market

The crypto community has begun to view the proposed GCR assets in MOON as a positive signal for the coin. Earlier this week, MOON experienced a 50% increase after being listed on one of the major cryptocurrency exchanges.
