Gate News 消息，3 月 20 日，据 1M AI News 报道，开源 AI Agent 框架 OpenClaw 的创始人 Peter Steinberger 在红杉资本主办的 OpenClaw 专题活动上，讲述了这一项目的诞生经过。他回忆，去年 5 月就萌生了让 AI 在自己不在电脑旁时也能远程接收指令、代为执行任务的想法，但他当时判断「大厂肯定会做这个，为什么还没人做？」便把想法搁置了。数月后的 11 月，同样的场景再次出现，他不在电脑旁，却迫切想向电脑发出一个指令，这种挫败感再也压不住：「为什么我至今还没动手做？这有多难嘛？」他将这种冲动追溯到自己入行时的心态：「这不就是每个创始人在开公司前都会这么想吗？我们开公司，恰恰是因为不知道有多难，直到深陷其中才无法抽身。」这一次他没有再等，当场做出了一个原型，一小时内完工，但功能有限，于是继续投入，越做越深，越陷越难脱身，最终这个「兔子洞」演变成了今天的 OpenClaw。
