Gate News message, April 22 — Alibaba Cloud retained its position as the largest infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) provider in Asia Pacific in 2025, with market share rising to 22.5% from 20.8% in 2024, according to Gartner. Globally, Alibaba Cloud ranked fourth among IaaS providers with 7.7% market share.

The global IaaS market grew 24.3% in 2025, adding $45 billion in revenue. Alibaba Cloud’s regional dominance is supported by local data center investments in Indonesia and Malaysia, as well as integration with Alibaba Group’s broader ecosystem including e-commerce and logistics operations.
