Bprotocol Foundation 和 LocalCoin Ltd. 指控该代码属于 Bancor 的专利基础设施，称 Uniswap Labs 未经许可“获益颇丰”。Uniswap 助理总法律顾问 Jolie Yang 表示：“此案的胜利对 DeFi 社区意义重大，保护开发者在无需担心专利流氓的情况下创新和改进已有概念。”判决指出，Bancor 的专利主张的是货币交换等抽象概念，不受美国专利法保护。该机制（CPAMM）最初由 Bancor 2017 年提出，Uniswap 2018 年推广并成为早期 DEX 的主流设计，Bancor 先前已将 CPAMM 代码开源。
