高雄高分院在 6 日宣判一起國安洩密案：海巡署南部地區機動海巡隊李姓隊員因向中國情報人員提供海防部署，被依《國家安全法》判刑 7 年 8 個月。且他不是使用傳統現金收賄，而是使用泰達幣 USDT 結算。
18 522 枚 USDT 的間諜酬勞
根據法院調查，李男因投資失利負債，2022 年底被化名 Tony 的中國情蒐人員鎖定。對方開出明確的薪酬方案：每季匯入約 6 萬元台幣等值的 USDT，年度再給獎金，並補貼 iPhone 11 與 iPhone 13 作為工作機。
李男一年內拍攝並透過 Telegram 傳送飛彈射擊警戒區、任務艦部署與巡邏計畫等敏感資料，最終收入 18,522 枚 USDT，折合不到 58 萬台幣。
造成國安危機
法院判決書指出，李男雖已繳回全部犯罪所得並認罪，但出賣國家及公務機密近 1 年 10 個月，造成國家安全危險，打擊國民捍衛自由、民主價值士氣…判處李姓男子有期徒刑 7 年 8 月，仍可上訴。
