Regarding the price forecast for 2030, of course, there’s a lot of risk involved. Looking at the history and comparing it with other Layer-2s, if the ecosystem continues to grow, we can imagine MATIC reaching another level. Some more optimistic scenarios talk about values well above $1 by 2030, but that heavily depends on technical execution and how the crypto market evolves in the upcoming cycles. Market cycles often bring pumps in altcoins after Bitcoin establishes a floor. What really matters most is tracking metrics like TVL, active addresses, and developer activity. Price alone doesn’t tell us much. Polygon has a fixed supply of 10 billion tokens, all already in circulation, so there’s no future inflation from mining. That’s a positive point for scarcity in the long term. Of course, there are risks: competition from other Layer-2s like Arbitrum, potential vulnerabilities, delays in the roadmap, adverse regulation.
