The founder of DeGods, Frank's Wallet was hacked, and 16 DeGods NFTs were stolen.
According to Hash World news, Frank, the founder of DeGods, had his Solana Wallet hacked, resulting in the theft of 16 DeGods NFTs and a loss of about 108 SOL (approximately $19,000). The incident occurred three days after he announced his resignation as CEO. Frank confirmed to the media that it was a hacker attack and denied allegations of selling NFTs, emphasizing that he still holds a large amount of DeGods assets. The floor price of DeGods has dropped from a peak of $37,000 in 2023 to around $1,000 currently. This week, Frank handed over the project to team members Pasta and Chill, who are using pseudonyms, while he still holds DEGOD ecosystem tokens worth about $50,000. The NFT project has faced controversy due to multiple cross-chain migrations and had also invested in shares of the BIG3 basketball league teams in 2022.
