zkVerify is positioned as a public verification layer in the ZK ecosystem, specifically responsible for receiving proofs, executing validations, and recording them on-chain, avoiding high Gas fees of L1 and incompatibility issues with EVM STARK. The verification cost for a single proof on Ethereum ranges from $20 to $60, while zkVerify significantly reduces and stabilizes costs by offloading to a dedicated chain.
After the proof is generated and submitted via RPC, the node preliminarily verifies it and reaches consensus on the blockchain; periodically, a Merkle Tree aggregation produces a summary ID, and the upper-level application only verifies the ID to confirm its validity. The callback mechanism triggers Rollup state updates or game settlements, achieving full process automation.
Substrate’s modular support for WASM enables upgrades without hard forks, while Rust ensures performance safety. The BABE+GRANDPA consensus achieves fast finality. State pruning and erasure coding optimize storage, and the Polkadot ecosystem provides open-source resources and scalability.
The maximum supply is 1 billion VFY, used for payment of verification fees, node staking, and governance voting. 37.31% for community airdrop liquidity, 33.06% for foundation research and development, and 19.63% for core contributors’ lock-up, with linear release to ensure long-term stability.
Supports multiple systems such as Plonky2 and Halo2, cross-chain integration and DAO governance, aiming to reduce verification costs to L1 1/10, covering ZK-ID, Gaming, and privacy AI, accelerating large-scale commercial deployment of zero-knowledge.
In the new cycle of Web3 where ZK has become mainstream, zkVerify (VFY) plays a key role, serving not only as a technical foundation but also as a layer of value trust.
