WTI Crude Falls Below $89/Barrel, Brent Breaks Through $98 Level

Gate News message, April 22 — WTI crude oil (U.S. benchmark light sweet crude) fell below $89 per barrel, declining 0.75% intraday. Brent crude oil (North Sea benchmark) broke through $98 per barrel, down 0.49% on the day.

Spot silver (physical commodity) rose 1% to $77.42 per ounce, while NYMEX silver futures (New York Mercantile Exchange contracts) surged above $78 per ounce, gaining 1.25% intraday.
