15,000 saplings memorial forest from Gate TR
The crypto exchange Gate TR announced in a statement from its social media account that it will establish three separate memorial forests consisting of a total of 15,000 saplings. This important step was taken to compensate for the losses caused by the forest fires that have recently occurred in our country and have deeply saddened us all, to revive the forests, and to leave a greener Turkey for future generations.
Three memory forests will meet the soil with 15,000 saplings
Gate TR aims to contribute to Turkey's natural wealth by creating memorial forests in three different regions. In this context, the 10,000 sapling Gate TR Memorial Forest symbolizes the company's presence and permanence in Turkey, while the 2,500 sapling Dr. Lin Han Memorial Forest serves as a token of gratitude for the support given by Gate TR Board Chairman Representative Dr. Lin Han to the Turkish crypto community. Additionally, the name of the 2,500 sapling Turkish crypto community memorial forest will be determined by the community's suggestions, and Gate TR will choose the most liked name from those received via social media to name this special forest.
Gate TR CEO Kafkas Sönmez stated the following regarding the project:
"This initiative reinforces our company's understanding of environmental responsibility and our commitment to Turkey. Just like yesterday, today we at Gate TR have stepped up to help in the disasters faced by Turkey. With this project, we aim to contribute to the restoration of the damage caused by fires and the preservation of biodiversity."
